Final Project Plastic Surgery Script
Script:
Intro:
Plastic surgery has other names, such as cosmetic surgery
and reconstructive surgery. It also is known to help improve. It basically is
to change a body parts physical appearance. The first step of plastic surgery
nowadays is to draw lines like what you're seeing in the picture.
Description/Examples
+ Advantages and Disadvantages:
Here you see a Victim of war that has been operated on him
due to his severe war injury. This is another war injury that has been cured in
that time by plastic surgery. As you can see, that was a successful surgery in
that time. This is the healing process of the operation. It takes a lot of time
to heal. But at those times, an operation would not get you back to your normal
physical appearance. Thank god for plastic surgery. Because of that this baby
will be able to live his life happily. Cosmetic surgery is well known in this
century and is done by many people including celebrities. This is referred to
as a “nose job”. People who don’t like their noses often change it by cosmetic
surgery. Now you see here a very good nose job that was necessary. In my
opinion, this girl needed the operation unlike most people who do it for no
reason. People who care a lot about what people say about them tend to be the
ones who change their looks in order to make themselves feel better. Lip
surgery is part of the cosmetic surgery category. It depends on what the client
wants. Its either to enlarge them or to shrink them. Kim Kardashian. This
bodacious woman has had many operations done on herself. She has changed her
nose, cheeks, lips, and other parts of her body. There are two types of breast
implants. Saline is recommended because it is less expensive and safer,
although, silicone is more natural and has less risk of rippling. Surgery in
this area of the body is critical because this is an important part of the
female body. This shows the before and after the implants. Now we can move to
the celebrities’ part of the video. Try and guess who this is. If you can’t,
then wait for the next picture and I am positive that you will recognize him in
an instant! This ladies and gentlemen is the one and only “King of Pop”. This
is what he looked like after all those operations. Michael Jackson was one of
the first singers/entertainers to get a plastic surgery. He also is the first
black person to go through this operation. Courtney cox or “Monica Geller” from
the TV show FRIENDS has had many operations that include her nose, lips, and
cheeks. Even Jennifer Aniston or “Rachel Greene” has had a nose job and a lip
operation. All this change of course took time. Jennifer Lopez. This is the
upside of these operations. They still make you look younger even when you’re
supposed to look 40! Evidently, people who do plastic surgery often look
perfect for a period of time. But soon after, they start sagging throughout
their whole bodies. A major upside that plastic surgery has to offer for
example is that this man had been in a nasty accident. Now he looks better than
what he would have looked before the surgery. Children that are born with
physical disabilities are advised to undergo this surgery because of reasons
such as this child.
UAE references:
This is a clinic in Dubai. All the information is written on
the banner here. This is the Elite team that would be operating if you were to
go to the elite clinic.
Conclusion:
In Islam, this kind of surgery is frowned upon (HARAM)! It
is haram because this is all about changing god’s creation. On the other hand,
it is considered okay (HALAL) if it is for a good reason. Like the baby in this
presentation. In the end, there is no solution to this problem. It's all about
self-esteem.

Exercise #4
Reading gives you superpowers.
Intro: We’ve all heard the famous saying “reading gives you
superpowers” but have you ever stopped to think about it. Maybe you’ve even
wondered how does reading give you superpowers. Well, I’m here to explain, we
can all be entertained and even learn by watching movies and television but,
when we do these thing were really just watching somebody else be creative.
Facts: Movie and TV directors get to have all the fun. They get
to decide what we see and for how long and they choose all the details like the
music and the costumes. Even the special effects, they’re the ones being
creative and were just watching. With reading however, it’s a whole different
story, we get involved. When we read a book there aren’t any special effects, there’s
no music to set the mood, and no costume designers or subject operators. We have
to fill all those details ourselves by using our imaginations.
Action and benefits: The simple fact is the more we read the
more we get to use our imaginations, and the more we use our imaginations, the
more powerful we become. So crack open a book and start reading because reading
really does give you superpowers. And imagination is the greatest superpower of
all.
